About Zillo
Anyone, anywhere,
selling anything online in under a minute.
That’s the whole reason Zillo exists. The internet has been around for thirty years and getting paid online is still harder than it should be. We’re fixing that.
Why Zillo
Most commerce tools are built for businesses that already have a business.
Shopify is brilliant if you sell physical products at scale. Eventbrite works if your whole business is events. Calendly does one thing well, but you need two more tools to actually take payment. The gap is everything in between.
We met café owners running gift cards on a clipboard, yoga studios billing memberships through three different apps, photographers selling preset packs through DM and a Stripe checkout link. The tools existed. They just didn’t fit a small business that wanted to sell five different things from one place, today, without a setup fee.
Zillo is the tool we wanted those operators to have. One sentence in. A real storefront out. Pay nothing until you sell something.
Where we’re from
Built in Sydney, Australia.
Launching first across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand, then Canada, the UK, and the US. We chose to start at home because the operators we built it for live around the corner, and we wanted to ship something they’d use.
How we work
Small team. AI-native. Software-only.
We’re a team of ten, target. Engineering, design, support, ops. Everyone uses AI tools the same way a carpenter uses a saw, fluently, daily, without making it the whole conversation.
We don’t do payments compliance, we don’t do customer service for your business, we don’t do logistics. Stripe handles money, you handle your customers, we handle the software. Each of us is great at one thing.
Operators come first.
We build for the people running the shop, not the people writing case studies about it. If a feature doesn’t make a real merchant’s day better, it doesn’t ship.
Honest, even when it’s awkward.
We charge 3% and we tell you why. We use AI for support and we tell you why. We won’t sell you a story that won’t hold up six months from now.
Software that respects your time.
If you have to read a manual, we’ve failed. If you have to file a ticket, we’ve failed. Most things should take less than a minute, and the rest should be obvious.
Small team, big output.
Ten people, working with AI tools that let us ship like a hundred. We don’t plan to scale headcount. We plan to scale impact.
We’re here to help you start selling.
Tell us what you sell. We’ll do the rest.
