zillo
How it works
No checklists. No setup wizard. No “step 14 of 27”. You write a sentence, the AI builds the rest, you connect Stripe, you’re selling.
Here’s what gets built
Your prompt
“Saturday morning sourdough class for 8 people, $120. Two hours, hands in the dough, take a loaf home. My Newtown bakery.”
Your storefront, in sixty seconds
Flour & Fire
Wellington bakery & classes
Two hours, hands in the dough, take a loaf home. Coffee included.
Step 1
Tell Zillo what you sell, in your own words. Denominations, dates, prices, capacity. We don’t make you fill in forty fields. The whole thing is one paragraph.
Step 2
Branded colours, photos, copy, checkout, receipts, customer emails. Edit anything by chatting with the same prompt. Change a price, add a class, switch a colour.
Step 3
Two clicks. Stripe runs the payment, holds the money in your name, pays it to your bank account. Zillo never touches your funds.
Step 4
yourshop.zillo.app, ready for Instagram, your email signature, the chalkboard out front. The first sale lands in your bank account, not ours.
Step 5
Open the Zillo Redeem app (iOS or Android), point it at the QR on the gift card, voucher, ticket, booking, or membership pass — it’s marked used in seconds.
Your money
Zillo runs on Stripe Connect. The first time you turn payments on, you’ll go through Stripe’s standard onboarding: name, business details, bank account. It takes a few minutes.
From then on, every customer pays Stripe. Stripe holds the money in your name and pays it to your bank account on a daily payout schedule. Zillo deducts a 3% fee at the moment of sale, the rest is yours.
You are the merchant of record. That means your customers see your business name on their card statement, you handle refunds and chargebacks, and your tax obligations are unchanged from any other Stripe-powered business.
Money flows: customer → Stripe → your bank
Zillo never holds your funds. Refunds come straight off the original sale, our 3% included.
Apple Pay, Google Pay, and standard cards built in
Stripe handles fraud detection, 3DS, and PCI compliance. You don’t store a single card number.
Stripe powers Shopify, Amazon, Booking.com
If you trust your money on those, you can trust it here. The plumbing is the same.
You can leave with your customer list, any time

Redeeming
Every gift card, voucher, ticket, booking, and membership pass you sell carries a unique QR token. When the customer turns up, your staff scans it and it’s marked used — instantly, no double-redemption.
Scan from the free Zillo iOS or Android app at the door, or mark it redeemed from the web console at /dashboard/redemptions for phone-in orders. Both write to the same append-only log.
Multi-use redeemables — a ten-coffee punch card, a monthly gym pass with capped check-ins — track their own usage counters. Misfire? One tap reopens the last scan.
One scanner for every token type
Gift cards, vouchers, tickets, bookings, memberships — same app, same flow.
iOS and Android, free for your staff
Hand a phone to the door person. Sign in once, scan all night.
Audit trail on every scan
Who scanned, when, and from which device — kept for support and disputes.
Undo the last scan
Misclicks happen. Reopen the pass and re-issue without leaving the row.
Support
Three channels, layered. The help center has every article we’ve written. The in-app AI chat answers most questions in seconds with citations you can verify. And if you still need a hand, the dashboard’s “Raise a ticket” widget puts it in front of the team.
Tickets are read by the same people building Zillo. We see them the same morning, often the same hour. If it’s a real problem we ship a fix. If it’s a gap in an article or the AI’s knowledge, we fill it. No tier-1 reps, no templated replies.
We don’t have a phone number, we don’t have live human chat, and we’re not going to pretend otherwise. The AI is good. When it isn’t, we get notified, and we ship.
Read more on the Help page →“I asked about how refunds split between Zillo and Stripe at 11pm on a Sunday. The AI walked me through the maths, sent me the dashboard link, and confirmed our 3% would come back. Faster than any support team I’ve dealt with.”
