Common questions
Can I take table reservations?
Yes. Set up a seating with a maximum number of guests (say 20 per service), the smallest and largest party you'll take, and a minimum lead time. Customers pick a time and book — each one shows how many seats are left, and the store fills the seating across parties without overbooking. Reservations can be free, or you can take a deposit. It's online reservation scheduling, not a full table-management floor plan.
How does a barista redeem a gift card or punch card?
Scan the QR code from the staff app, or key in the short code. The remaining balance or punch count updates instantly and is visible to both of you. No extra terminal required.
Can I sell a monthly coffee subscription?
Yes — that’s a membership. Customers are billed automatically each month through Stripe and can manage or cancel from their own account. You decide what the subscription includes.
Do gift cards expire?
You set the expiry — 12 months is a common default. Balances support partial spends, so a customer can use a $50 card across several visits.
Where does the money go?
Straight to your Stripe account and then your bank. Zillo never holds your funds. You’re the merchant of record, and we take 3% per sale with no monthly fee.
